My grandma spent most of her life in Korea so a lot of her go-to recipes are Korean dishes. Kimbap was one of those recipes I would always beg her to make. I would watch her roll Kimbap after Kimbap until we had a mountain stacked. You’d think we were feeding a whole village! This is the type of cake that you could eat everyday. It’s made up of 3 chocolatey components that perfectly balances each other. The cake is rich, dense, and super moist. The cream is thick and luxurious. The ganache is sweet and super chocolatey. I love this cake because it does not use any buttercream and it is not too sweet – it is your everyday kinda girl.

You can really taste the nuttiness from the Nutella paired with a perfect chocolatey delight. Surprisingly, these are not too sweet which means you will never get sick of eating these!

My Grandma’s famous Jajangmyeon is a recipe that holds a very special place in my heart because it’s my favorite dish that my grandmother makes. Growing up, I spent countless hours in the kitchen with her, learning and watching as she cooked. Jajangmyeon was always the dish I begged her to make, and it became our special tradition. Even now, whenever I visit home, she’ll make it a point to cook up a huge pot so we can sit down and have a warm bowl of noodles together.
