
This is my go-to summer smoothie; a super creamy avocado green smoothie. The texture is thick and creamy without being too heavy on the palate. It is not too sweet and perfectly refreshing. It’s also packed full of nutrients and will keep you satiated throughout the day.
For those of you that hate bananas in your smoothies, good news, this doesn’t require bananas!
To make it, you only need avocado, lemon, apple juice, and spinach. The avocado gives it a creamy and thicccc texture, the apple juice provides just enough sweetness, the lemon adds a tangy freshness, and the spinach gives it a beautiful green and super nutritious.
Yield: 2 servings
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Large Avocado
- 200-400ml Apple Juice
- 1 Juicy Lemon
- 2 Handfuls of Spinach (optional but good to add), rinsed
- Ice

STEPS:
- Into a blender, add spinach, avocado, the juice of 1 lemon, and half of the apple juice to start
- Blend as thoroughly as possible, then gradually add more apple juice until you achieve the consistency you like
- Give it a taste and adjust the tartness and sweetness by adding more lemon juice or apple juice
- In a glass, add ice and pour the smoothie over
