a little bit about me...

Since you’ll be following my instructions in your kitchen, I think it’s only fair that we get acquainted, so you know that you can trust me. 

 

Here’s a quick highlight of who I am and how we got here. 

 

My name is Chloe and I was born in Taiwan. I’m in my early 20s, navigating life freshly out of university, living abroad, and not sure where life is taking me. The only thing I’m certain of is that food has always been my safe space and I want to share that with you.

 

When the world entered the most uncertain times in 2020 (ugh, covid), I was finishing my first year of university in Glasgow. And just like everyone else who started social media, I started posting everything I baked and cooked for my whopping 10 followers to see. 

 

Freshly 19, studying an Anatomy degree at a university in Glasgow during a lockdown meant that I did very little studying. I ended up spending all of my time grocery shopping, cooking, baking, filming, and editing content to document my culinary journey (I do not condone not studying. Stay in school kids. I actually really, really loved my degree). 

 

And to my surprise, over the past 4 years, a total of over 800k of you have joined me along this journey (thank you all so much, I would not be here if it wasn’t for your support <3). 

In the blink of an eye, I graduated from University, got a job at a vegan bakery, got to work as a pastry chef, learned so much, quit my bakery job, and now I am here. 

 

With hundreds of recipes collected in the past 4 years, I thought it’d be nice for us to finally have a little archive. And maybe even a little space for a few stories from the past 23 years on Earth.
